Anybody know were these steering column mount pieces go?

This is my steering column mounting bracket for my 69 Mach1.

I have these two extra aluminum bushings that look exactly like the three that mount in the bracket. Do I just use these as spacers and stack them above the two horizontal ones mounted in the front of the bracket? What aligns them and keeps them from spinning? I didn't get good pictures when I took it apart 5 years ago and the Osborne manual isn't that clear.

i believe they're just used as spacers as you've mentioned (at least that's how i have mine setup).

2x, stack them above the ones on your bracket. I've read that some guys leave them out to move the steering wheel up some. I thought about doing that to mine.

Mine had only the three as they are on your bracket. NO extras. I think someone added in an extra set to drop the column down a tad. Bruce

They were spacers on mine. Three on bracket and two under the front two.
