I did templates of the areas to fill in and cut them out of some leftover 11ga. I also fully welded all the seams on the shock towers before installing the plates, then fully welded them in place. The big block reinforcements were also fabricated (these are out of 7ga) and fully welded and blended. The inner brace was more 7ga, fully welded.

Got all the interior color done. Still have clear to do This afternoon but it looks good. The color is F8 green. It’s a 2019 dodge color. The first picture doesn’t do it justice due to being in the shade and no clear on it. You can see the metal flake and more of the actual color in the last picture.

I'm on my way back fromTucson and spent 3 days searching for housing that might fit my needs.  Found 2 or 3, but were either in a terrible neighborhood or 10+ miles out of town with nothing nearby.  I ended up finding a very nice rental property for the time being, and I hope to move here by mid-November.
The bad news: I might not have space available to have the business up and running when I finally move in and settle.  I'll know more once I'm here.  I'll notify y'all what will be happening.
The real bad news: I'll still be here offering wise cracks and crummy advice.  Sorry 'bout that..

I am getting a little closer to finishing up the front torque box replacement. I had my neighbor (frame/body guy)come by yesterday to see what I needed to do next. He said drill 5/16" holes in the replacement panel where the original spot welds were. That way we can fill them in with weld and make it look as stock as possible. He also said where there are gaps put in a 5/16" self tapping screw to pull it up tight and we will fill the holes in after welding. This may be common knowledge to you guys but I wanted to pass it along in case someone like me is doing research on replacing the torque box.

Floor pans on both sides are now in and just doing some prep work on seat risers and the Global West subframe connectors, before welding them in.

I have a few days off next week, so hoping to get the welding finished, save for the front rad support.

    Update, started to take a closer look at Sheet  metal. In summary 3 main points;
1-inner fender pieces, LHD and RHS to replace as hood hinge fixings missing on both sides
2-LHS frame rail, firewall and floor, find the odd pickle point, so cutting out floor.
less on RHS but going to cut that out when LHS done.
3-front rad core  support piece, nr RHS top bit crusty And looks like a small fender bender in past  so replacing whole unit with RHS inner fender panel as battery tray is rotten from below
aside form that the car is solid.
getting parts in U.K. proving really difficult, having to order via  and circa  6 week delay and driving me mad eg global west subframe connectors ... joys of owning a US car over here in U.K.

these are the only pics I have from when I had an X junction installed.  The pics were more geared towards the exhaust than capturing the subframes but hopefully you might be able to glean something..  My car was on a lift Tuesday and if I had seen your post earlier, I could have taken pics.  This is from before the accident.  The subframes were the only thing that kept the car from ripping in half

    Good Evening all.
My name is Chris, I live in the U.K. and here is my plane Jane ‘69 mustang fastback.
plan is lightly restore it and a light restomod; 408 or 427, street or track front suspension, Subframe connectors, upgraded Leather interior,  led vintage air, A/c  Etc
I bought it from Virginia to over here to the U.K. about 18 months ago, strip down has started.
I’ll post regular updates as work progresses

    Hey TexasEd,
I like your overall vision statement as mine is very similar with a bit of a lean towards the Pro-touring/Restomod vehicle.  I wanted more modern drive and conveniences of a modern car, but had to keep the original body with some slight changes that don't stand out drastically, but to make it slightly different.
A quick list of modern conveniences:
    Vintage Air AC
    Unisteer Power Steering
    Cobra Disc Brake upgrade
    FiTech FI
TKO600 Transmission with Hydraulic Clutch Setup
    Upgraded Radio with Kicker Components
    Street or Track Upgrades Suspension
TMI Covered Foxbodies in Mach 1 Upholstery
    3 Point Front Seat belts
LED tail lights and Halogen Headlights
    Body Changes:
    Removed 1/4 Panel Emblems
    Removed Trunk Letters
Removed Rear Wing/Still need to add Front Spoiler
Paint Whole Hood and Cowl Flat Black
    Paint Tail Panel Flat Black
Painted on Side Stripe with Body Color Showing through for striping and MACH 1 lettering
    17/18in Bullitt Wheel Combo

How the hell did you lift that car high enough to get it on that rotisserie ?. The underseal seems to have done it's job, the floor looks very nice.
