  5. By the response to this it seems most don't torque their manifold bolts.PM me if you prefer.Cheers Phil
  6. Did it say that these torque settings are for manifolds with no gaskets used ( as they were when originally installed new at factory) or with gasket as I'm doing? I placed this enquiry on another site and 2 others said torque up to 30ft.lbs.Just worried about over torque as can cause cracking of manifold.
  7. No problem,if I can't find some off wrecked vents in US I will have to make something as wont find them here in Australia.Cheers Phil
  8. I thought that the hole was for a screw but it may not be ,the clip could have a small tag that goes into the hole & the other end of the clip clips over the top edge of bracket. If you could take a picture of yours & dimensions I may try to make them if I can't pick a couple up.Cheers Phil
  9. Sorry I was after exhaust manifold specs.
  10. Interested in info in what to torque my manifold bolts on my 302W when using a manifold gasket & is there a specific order to follow.Cheers Phil
  11. Wanted Kick Panel air vent just require only the cable holding clip & screw.Require 2 of them.Does anyone have a couple of these or know where I might be able to get hold of them.Cheers Phil
  12. Ridge Runner I had sent you a PM.Cheers Phil
  13. I had painted mine with VHT high temp paint not long ago & it has been flaking off.Interested in the Graphite spray I saw on Classic Car Restorstions if anyone has tried this, but if not may try the Dupicolor the way you have suggested Ridge Runner.Cheers Phil

  15. Thanks Rsanter,I sent you a PM awaiting your reply.Cheers Phil
  16. Here are photos of my clips (part no on clips is C7ZB-6510182-A) & moldings & lenghts
  17. On NPD they list Rocker Molding clips for 1967-1968 as CLIP, ROCKER MOLDING, REPRO Manufacturer Reference #'s: FDM1101CC-DII, C7ZZ-6510182-A In the 1970 Mustang Jim Osborn Body Assembly Manual it lists the 1970 clips as part number C7ZB-6510182-A .I don't know but they may be similar to the 67-68 clips. If you are able to get a 67-68 clip & check would be great to know.
  18. Sorry about the large print above don't know how this happened.
  19. Casey mine also need polishing & black replaced, I found on YouTube if you type in 1970 Mustang Aluminum Rocker Panel Trim Repair you will see one being removed & pollished.Cheers Phil
  20. Casey you made a Great decision not to part it out.Great to see another 70 Landau Grande (rare ,not many still around) being restored.Looking forward to seeing more photos of your restoration progress.Well done,Cheers Phil
  21. I have found alot of great info on the internet, and have found & bought many hard to get parts off Ebay for my Grande eg NOS chrome roof trim for my 2/3 Vinyl roof which is not reproduced & nearly impossible to find,Original Deluxe steering wheel for $35 US.....There are many recognised Mustang parts suppliers that sell through Ebay.I have had more positives than negatives from both of these sources.Living in Australia I thank God for modern technology computers & the internet for finding out info.Cheers Phil
  22. I think that you all are right (always great knowledge on this site) when I Googled Ford Part Number DOZB-13796-A (which is on the wire of mine) it came up with an advert with the photo that I posted above & said that it was a NOS 1970 Ford Mustang Under Hood Light Boss OEM Engine ... so I assumed advert was correct. Midlife would you have any photos of one of these fitted as a dome light? Cheers Phil
