  1. Excellent idea! now, what about the coil-overs, any ideas? Anyone?
  2. Cphsonic, do you think I could make those fit http://www.americanmuscle.com/18x10-gt4-0509-chrome.html without too much surgery? Also, what about the coilovers, could I then remove the shocktowers?
  3. would the spacers put me too far outward toward the fenders? What size spacers would you recommend? Love those wheels man!
  4. I saw a post where cphsonic added fr500 wheels to his car and they looked great. I've just finished mini-tubbing my rear, I can fit 20's if need be. My problem is the BS on the wheels I'm looking at. http://www.americanmuscle.com/18x10-gt4-0509-chrome.html 18x10 Back Spacing: 7.2" (184mm), Offset: +45mm (1.8") My only limiting factor is the leaf springs, will they fit? Fender lips are rolled as well. Also, If I went with coil-overs, could I delete the shock towers?
  5. Out of curiosity, I found that 10" subs will also fit in the front vent holes. :)
  6. Actually it only took one grinding wheel to do the passenger door and the passenger wheel well. It just took awhile trying to be patient and only taking off a little at a time.
  7. Aint nothing wrong with a B/A mad Max car! Oh, and MFP stands for Main Force Patrol. Had to ask an aussie buddy.
  8. Well, I'm in between classes for the summer, so I thought I'd get back into the swing of things and start working on the Mustang. Yesterday I Shaved the passenger door handles off and removed the inner wheel housing (passenger side). I saw somewhere that has a decent mini-tub kit and I figured "What the Hell". Anyone else with mini tubs? The old man is still working on his '35 Ford truck and has been trying to hijack me into working on it. I don't even have enough time to work on my OWN car. Got a new jack as an early fathers day present and I may be getting a new 3.73 (I think) trac lok 3rd member. The old man is going to use an Explorer 8.8 on his '35. Just a little rambling, but its been forever since I've had time to sit down and read through everyone's posts. Hope all of you are doing well!!
  9. There's always Sketchup ;) (Thanks for my 'chop btw PAK) It's framed now!

  11. If any of you are interested, there are a few 69 Mustangs available for download from Google Sketchup (free). You can manipulate them (lower, add a rake, change color, etc.) I found it very handy. It wont be as good as a professional 'chopper (PAK), but it will work (and reduce his workload).

  13. Yes, I'm still alive. I like the looks of the new Challenger, but I'll have to agree with Slime on this one, the Mustang with it's lower price will outsell them all. If the Challenger and Mustang were the same price and had the same performance, I'd probably opt for the Challenger. It has a classic/timeless look to it.

  15. Thanks for the thread! Read it, but not much useful info for me. No PAK, my old man is picking up a '35 Ford pickup with a Chevy 350, the T56 a 31 spline 9" trac loc and some digital gauges. I tried to convince my bother into letting me trade him then T56 and him getting me a Ford T56 (apparently theyre all over virginia beach). You see he just dropped an '08 Z06 Vette motor into a '93 RX-7. He says hell send me a video of the dyno. 550hp at the wheels!!! He told me he put it sideways in 4th gear!
