Nice work!  Also great color.  Some black highlights on that Gulfstream Aqua would look great.....
The old cars have cool body lines that you can add striping and contrasting color to.
Attached a picture of a 1929 Auburn 8-90 Convertible Sedan that belongs to my family.
The green highlight follows the original body lines, and the wire wheels are painted to match the contrasting color.  Pretty cool.
Keep us posted on the progress....

I had bought 3 gallons of gulfstream aqua ,enough for my 69 Mustang and my old 35 Ford and tucked it away ,i checked and it is still good so this one will go gulf stream as well  ,this pic is pretty close to what it would look like .

When taking these things apart ,i learned a long time ago ,you dont loosen the bolts to get them out ,they are way to rusty . You tighten them ,a couple of turns and the heads pop off ,they are as soft as lead ,it makes taking them apart way easier !

I got the two frame ends blasted and primed ,not a lot of pitting ,mainly where it had a hitch bolted over the frame but still nothing bad . The rest of the frame is heavily painted ,it was hard to blast off the ends so i am thinking the main rails will be in great shape!
He cut these ends with what looks like a chop saw blade about 1/8 inch think so i will have to leave a gap when i weld them back on ,i will use a chop saw blade to space it

Other than 3 inches cut off the rear of the frame rails ,and i have the pieces ,and a trimmed front frame horn the old frame is in very good shape . It still has the wish bone front suspension and believe it or not ,set up properly this rides very well . Soon as i get the frame pieces welded back on i will mount it on my rotisserie and get it blasted and epoxy primed. It will run the wish bone with disk brakes a 4 inch drop axle  and a good shock set up along with Posi rear leaf spring kit and a cut down nine inch ,it is the same width as a 66 mustang .i will box the front and rear of the frame

Well ,a nice ending for 2023 ! I found a rat rod ...junk ..but it has two good 35 37 front fenders in the bed that are easily usable . The running boards are actually in great shape with one dent in the front of the passenger side ,16 gauge metal so you can bang the crap out of them ! A couple of sets of head lights ,fender mounting braces and the inner fender skirts . But best of all it has a very rust free frame ,the guy just cut 3 inches off the rear frame rails but he still has them so so problem to weld back on . I now have everything except the bed but that i will buy new .
Someone converted to hydraulic brakes so that is a sellable item ,probably a few more usable pieces but we will see when i get it home this morning .

I finally did sort out, but the official fastener should be for this map light.
For those of you who do not have the Ford fastener manual, I have found this to be one of my most important resources, as I did not disassemble all of my car, and only had coffee cans full of hardware when I purchased it
The assembly manuals have references to every fastener, and the Ford fastener manual has a cross reference that shows the exact hardware that was used by the factory at the time.
It actually shows photographs of what the fastener should look like, and it has a very detailed reference section on the type of finish, and so forth that was used by the factory for these fasteners, including the markings.
It’s worth the money, it’s actually not that expensive.  This allowed me to go to local fastener shop, and get what I need for these miscellaneous fasteners, that are not easily procured in these interior or exterior or body kits
An example here shows the drawing out of the assembly manual, with the map, light fastener circled, and then that fastener number is shown in the Ford fastener, manual, cross reference, and it takes you right to the page which shows the type of fastener it is.
In this case, it’s a number six pan head sheet metal screw that is three-quarter of an inch long.
I’m actually going to use the number six screw, with a washer, and mine will be stainless

No, it will most likely be at a buddy's place above Hart Park and the Kern River. He has a nice place with some acreage and facilities. We usually hold it at local parks, but Bakersfield has smaller neighborhood parks that the needed facilities. The few larger parks require big fees which we aren't set up to cover.

We had to go into the food court to frame a couple of walls at lunch time ,about 100 convicts in there at the time ,they told us before entering if any thing happens stand still and the guards would intervene. ,my tool bag weighed about 75 pounds with tools and a pouch full of screws and a drill .of course one of the cons grabbed my drill and pointed it at me like it was a gun ...i was thinking i was going to have to go Chuck Norris on his ass when a voice inside my head said" BUT YOU DONT KNOW KARATE"!  standing there like a deer in the headlights the guard slapped him in an arm lock and i grabbed my drill and boogied it out of there but, that was only the first time i had an interaction with one of the cons !
