I don't intent reviving this thread up but I believed what you are talking about are for popping the trunk up a bit when you open the trunk with your keyfob or from the button above the license plate. Well, it's as easy as you may think as far as for the manual i've been into.

Power master on my own point of view has the quality needed for an alternator. Im using it for the past several years and still working on my stang. On the other hand, i believe that fouling plug is due to vacuum leak based on my experience....

Alternator Charge Wire Replacement
rajonmestra replied to Aerocoupe's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
This is actually just half the job. I recently discovered that When you add a high power sound system, you need to upgrade all of the associated alternator wiring, engine grounding, and battery which is another thing related to this issue.Anyway, there are a lot of stocks that could fit older mustangs just like the one most of us were driving. -
I know im kindda late with this but just a heads up with you guys. I had the same thing with regards to the spindles but the dealership replace the part and now working good on my vehicle. I have heard several issues about this but the wrong move was that they just replace the part without asking the dealership.

For Sale: Right headlight splash shield
rajonmestra replied to 69GT's topic in Parts for Sale / Wanted
Forgive me for this bump but just took place the my front splash shield has a crack and of course it badly needs replacement. I have no idea what make it broken when i was surprised to see it the morning after we had a party last week. Just asking if you still have stocks for the said part. Or probably just send a PM directly on my account or directly on this thread. -
Sorry for reviving this up. Just a heads up...about the new ford engine. It just happened that im looking for an engine swap but no idea what might be the characteristics i should for...anyone here has further experience with the same thing?

doing 351efi swap,what else can i use from 92 f150?
rajonmestra replied to bc_stang's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Excuse me for reviving this up but i had been on the same thing several months ago but just a simple problem since there are a lot of stores that offer stuff for ford...aside from mustang. you can also find truck parts out there for f150. As far as i know, there is after market stuff which would help you in saving money plus there is a manual included to ease the repair job... -
1983 Mazda Rx7 Wide Body Set up for SB FORD
rajonmestra replied to Fordrevhead's topic in Cars for Sale / Wanted
Apologize for the disturbance but My dad had the same thing and he thinks he could no longer take care of his car any more he he decides to sell it for good. this is quite vintage compared to the 69 but the tranny and other stuff on it are still in good vibes... -
Well, I know I got this late but Mustangs got the GT version of the 390 FE engine, which had a different exhaust manifold bolt pattern in comparison with the regular 390's. On the other hand I have asked on the FE Forum though been hanging with those guys for over 10 yrs, some of the factory stock and resto guys will know if the manifolds physically bolt on i will send you the details.

Spindles Off a 69 Ford Ranchero ??
rajonmestra replied to clay37355's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
This is a late in time discussion but had tried installing a ford ranchero spindles but it doesn't directly fit unless you have the appropriate kit. there are actually such stuff in some online parts stores out there and you have the right to choose. MikeStang knows further and yes a granada disc would do. -
Wow..i love the way it was painted and quite bigger compared to other rods there....

I know im late with this but im one of the hot rods afficionados out there and i love seeing those stuff. BTW how much would be the total cost if ever i would be planning to have the same thing. Here in our place, they would appear to be that rare and eye catching. Anyway thanks for sharing this and i would love seeing more of this.

Original Ford Tooling Chrome Trim any good??
rajonmestra replied to jwscarab's topic in 1969-70 Technical Forum
Just a heads up. Im using Putcho with SAA Part Number: DH45351. Doing well for my 69. However, it would be also ideal using Corvex as mentioned by Buening.
