As a Conservative Christian I don't think Trump supporters are biased at all, it's the other way around. There's far more corruption from the Democrats.

No no, I'm not saying that Trump supporters are biased, at least not more than anyone else, because we're all biased in some way or another. What I'm saying is that a site that is "ProTrump" is per definition biased in favor of Trump, and therefore makes me personally a bit sceptical about their message if the message is in favor or Trump. It doesn't appear as objective as I would like.

If they on the other hand specify how or where they have gotten that data so I can look into it myself I feel like they are more trustworthy. And if there is other sources with neutral or opposing political views claiming the same thing then that is yet another thing that would make me more likely to believe it.

Regarding bias and corruption, I don't really see a connection there. I think power is a more likely factor in corruption. As the old saying goes; "Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Edit; Lol, just read your latest post. :D

so you understand, every move to the left is in fact getting closer to communism for us. what we specifically do not want in this country is to be like Europe. As you know, this country was founded to get away from Englands rule and our rights and freedoms are something everyone wants. For example, the left wants to take away our guns. This is so they make us as weak as europe. A country without a defense will certainly be controlled by government, as well as be reliant on the govt to protect us. As you just saw in Austria.

In a literal sense I guess every step to the left is a step closer towards extreme socialism, but I don't really think that every single socialistic ideas is neccesarily bad. I mean, you could say that the fire department and police (and I would argue healthcare) is some sort of socialistic ideas where everyone pays taxes to get help when needed regardless of social or economical status.

Regarding the gun point (no pun intended) I think most contries weights the freedom vs safety in everyday life a little more in favor of safety than the US, even if that means more control to the goverment. In an ideal world I think the goverment should protect the interests of their people, and that includes external threats. If your goverment dissaperared I don't see anything that would stop another contry from invading and supressing the people. I don't think an anarcistic state would be able to organize enought to fend of an invasion. Sure, because of all the guns the US would probably be the hardest contry on earth to get full control over because of guerilla wars all  around, but the freedoms would certainly be extremely reduced out of necessity.

When you say "we" and "the left" are you refering to those who voted for the two different parties, or those in the conservative and socialist "ideologies"? Because I don't think those two are necessarily the same.

Also, I don't know what you are refering to exactly about Austria.

sorry, i may have went on a rant and forgot what i was saying.

In Austria the other night, a terrorist took to the streets and from what I understand began killing.

It is far more unlikely for a situation like that to happen in the US because a gunman may get a few shots out, but would be terminated by armed citizens. My point is we can not depend on govt to protect us, we must protect ourselves.

When i say the left I refer to Democrats and we are the Right.  ( and may i say we are always right :-)

You dont seriously think that do you?  There have been a lot of mass shootings in the USA in the past years and none I can recall have been resolved by an armed citizen but by the police.

PS I am a gun owner and hunter - not an anti..

And you won't in the main stream press. If you get one of the monthly NRA magazines there are always reports in it of armed citizens stopping a bad guy with a gun because the good guy was armed.

Looks like I will be making my new peaceful protest sign tomorrow.

Trader Joe and the Hoe are NOT my President!

I think a 4x8 will be big enough for all to see without squinting.

Shouldnt we start saying Impeach by now?

I do, and I am ( was)  the police. mass shootings are not what im referring to. of course you can walk into a school with defenseless kids or an office which prohibits weapons. I'm talking about on a normal street in anywhere USA ( except NYC ) armed citizens Do neutralize perps.  BTW, i was under the impression that you are not permitted to have guns in Australia.

One of my favorites....

In curious, what's you take on the statistic that say that the US have by far the highest gun related deaths per capita among high income countries, and at the same time the most liberal (as in non-restictive) gun laws? Is that the balance between freedom and safety that the US has decided to settle for? And if so, why doesn't any other country do the same?

Gun deaths per capita are low compared to other deaths in the US. As far as related to other countries, somebody's gonna be at the top and bottom of the list. Being worst on the list doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.

The most gun restrictive cities in the US have the highest murders. Being on top of that list is a bad thing. Hell, living in those cities is a bad thing.

Just remember, criminals will always have guns, they dont abide by that silly little laws. As RPM said, all the most restricted places in the US are the highest in murder rates. NYC, Chicago, LA not good places to be with these garbage mayors and Gov's that put in restrictive laws. Of course, all those places are Democrat run.
