LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 Yes, But make sure the cap is vented or you still have the fuel canister vent set up installed.

LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 look at the top of the fuel tank, In the left front corner will be connection points to the charcoal canister in the engine bays drivers side front with tube to air cleaner. If not there the cap must be vented or damage to tank may occur and engine run problems pop up.
Mustanger69 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 hard for me to see top of gas tank due to re-carpeting of trunk but heres some pics of the old and new gas caps new ones w/o vent
LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 simply drill a 1/16th hole in the center of the cap like the old one.
jmlay 80 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 Look at the face of the fill tube. Typically there will be an indention on the face that serves as the vent.
