Stuck in the garage and wating to go

Recommended Posts

Have not been on for a while but the 428 Mach 1 is running and i have a couple of little issues to fix.

Took out the 4.30 Detroit Locker and put in a highway friendly 3:1 Traction Lock and the car is really driveable now.

I can only polish and detail the cars so many times.

So here they are in the garage just waiting.

You know the old saying there is no substitute fo cubic inches.

Love both these cars and both are so different and i am lucky to have them.

My wife has a 17 GT convertible and she reckons it's great.

It was the old saying there's no replacement for displacement. But it is untrue these days when these shit 4 cylinders with 30 turbos blow away anything with cubic inches.

But what I tell all these kids in rice cars is:

Your car will never sound tough

and the most its worth is what its worth right this minute.

While I mostly agree with you, it wouldn't surprise me if 40 years from now a bunch of old farts are restoring WRX's and Mini's.
