Convertible Front Shoulder Belts

Thinking about seat belts in my '70 convertible, and any way to install a 3 point seat belt without installing the Shelby Roll bar. Want a decent look and plan to use stock seats.

Bit hard to do, if possible you need to keep the upper mount above your shoulder so you don't compress your spine in an accident, and yes I know a lot of people mount them lower but it is not ideal.

This is one that does just that i have never seen before, would wonder at the legality of it though.

Search for belts, and find the discussion on Oct 24, 2018.  Someone else had the same question, and there are some ideas on this link ( including the way I did it).

i did them a similar way, it clears the top frame.

Yes, let us know what you did.  Newstang, that looks very cool.  I can see advantages to doing it this way.  I do not have a welder, so my way also worked.
