No compression

hello all i have a 69 mustang with a fresh build 302. It has e street heads a comp cam and a brawler 650 double pumper. The timing is set for the cam i am getting gas washed cylinders and compression is 60 pounds any help would be appreciated thank you john

What do you mean you are getting "gas washed cylinders"?

Do you know for a fact your cam timing is correct and your compression gauge is correct?

Compression gauge is correct at the oppinion of the shop that built the motor told me to put tranny fluid in the top of my cylinders over night the next day i had 150 plus compression and was set at factory 302 firing order. I ran the car drove it for about a half hour seemed to be smooth the next day it ran a little bad. I then adjusted the rockers and set the firing order to comp cams specks it back fired through the carb so i checked compression again and it was back to 60

Depending on what Comp cam you installed the firing order will either be 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 if the cam part number started with 31, or it will be 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 if the cam part number started with 35.  Make certain you adjusted the valves correctly.  Comp cams has some good instructions on how to do that.

You almost need to do a cylinder leakage test to determine where all the leakage is.  From your descriptions it sounds like the rings are leaking badly.  But, it's a new motor which is odd.  If it's truly washing the cylinders with fuel, that is bad for the rings.

Cam timing being wrong will cause low cylinder pressure as well.  The motor might run, but not like it should.  Some work involved to check the cam timing, but might be worth it

What do you mean you "set the firing order to comp cams specs"? Since it initially ran fine, the firing order was initially correct. If you changed it from what it originally was, you need to change it back.

Exactly how did you adjust the rockers?

What do you mean the compression "was back to 60"?

Was the compression only 60 when you first tested it, and if so, was this even before you fired the engine up?

You are missing a lot of info, and unless you can post exactly what happened in chronological order from when you first fired the engine up after it was rebuilt until now, it will be hard to accurately guess as to what the problem might be.
