RatRod69 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 Im new to this group as well as new to owning a mustang. My brother in law sold me his 69 hardtop this past week after years of trying to purchase it. The car was parked in 2008 and hasnt been touched since. Almost completely torn down when i got to it. The engine turns, oil is surprisingly clean, edlebrock carb is damn near mint. This is my first classic car i get to work on and i figured i share the progress. I am a decent mechanic but any help and insight as to what to look for to get it back up and running would greatly appreciated. First order of business is putting on new wheels to get it rolling. Than engine work comes next. Factory 302 2v, 3 speed auto( dont know if thats original or not).
