Vicfreg 772 Report post Posted October 22, 2018 Have a 351W and C-6 installed in my '70 Vert. Installed the Dakota Digital VHX speed pickup into the transmission. Installed my stock automatic shifter and.... clunk.... The shift lever arm hits the speed sensor during part of the travel. Any suggestions? I am considering maybe a Lokar top mount cable shifter, but I don't want to take the transmission out to do it.... some of the Lokar shifters have the cradle that mounts to the top....not interested in that one...
