Help Needed for Door Glass Weatherstrip Channel

Recommended Posts

So I am in the process of getting my car road worthy and weather proof. I am trying to find out what was factory on the Coupe (and maybe what can work as well).

On the driver's side I have the weatherstrip channel on the window glass and on the passenger side I have the weatherstrip channel on the quarter window. So what was factory? On the door or on the qtr window? As a side note the the passenger side window has a few small chips on the edge so "converting" it could hide that. Because these are not cheap I need to get the one what will work the best.

Also as a side note – I need to adjust the "tilt" of the passenger glass to be parallel with the qtr. Do I move the bump stop down a bit and move the bolted arm on the front bracket to adjust it?

69 has the weatherstrip on the door glass, 70 has it on the 1/4 glass. But, there are exceptions. Check out the WCCC you tube video on this for proper explanation. It starts around 42:00
