EastYorkStang 63 Report post Posted September 16, 2018 After putting my battery in the trunk of my '70 sportsroof I used the old battery negative cable and bolted it to the top of the frame just below where the battery was. Other end is on the block just behind the alternator. Car completely shut down on my way home last night which got me thinking about running another ground strap. But from where to where ? Brian Conway 264 Report post Posted September 16, 2018 The back of the right/passenger side head to the firewall is another stock ground location. Brian 1 RPM reacted to this
Her69fastback 3 Report post Posted September 16, 2018 I figured out the more grounds you have the better.
Cantedvalve 128 Report post Posted September 16, 2018 I’ve always been in the habit of hooking the battery ground directly to the block and grounding the chassis with a strap. With moving my battery to the trunk currently, I am curious to know how this ends up.
