Her69fastback 3 Report post Posted September 9, 2018 What gauges is everyone using? I’ve been all over the web. There are loads of them out there. Just wanting to know what working the best. I haven’t decided if I want to go with a stock look or go with the 6 gauges look.
Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 I like Dakota's backlighting much better than New Vintage's perimeter lighting, so I asked Dakota if they could add spun center caps. Here is the reply: Thank you for the email, unfortunately there isn’t clearance to add that accent to the VHX line. The Retrotech (RTX) series will be available around the beginning of 2019 if that is an option for you. That will mimic the stock look.

RPM 1,190 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 I've got Auto Meter Ultra Lite, but regret buying them. Too few choices, but I liked the look. I'm liking those Dakotas.
Mike65 475 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 I will probably be using the Dakota Digital VHX in black that will fit in the stock cluster. http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=791/category_id=434/mode=prod/prd791.htm
Her69fastback 3 Report post Posted September 10, 2018 Why didn’t you like the auto meter gauges RPM.
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted September 12, 2018 Because of their lack of choices, i.e. no dual or quad function gauges, not many tachs with 8k or lower max reading.
