Mike65 475 Report post Posted May 7, 2018 Wrap some electrical tape on a straight blade screwdriver or on a door panel clip remover & pop it out with that. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/autocraft-door-upholstery-remover-ac529/9020365-p?c3ch=PLA&c3nid=9020365-P&adtype=pla&gclid=CjwKCAjw8r_XBRBkEiwAjWGLlAgNI8v_fkeqot0yYwQQ6nsOnjvutP7xMnrj4-LWFpvE6E0qYOsD6hoC15cQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.walmart.com/ip/Car-Door-Panel-Remover-Tool-Body-Trim-Pry-Retainer-Clip-Auto-Upholstery-5873/538132297?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=2961&adid=22222222227095490153&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=216428187289&wl4=pla-376479218284&wl5=9003993&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=113509951&wl11=online&wl12=538132297&wl13=&veh=sem

ralt962 11 Report post Posted May 8, 2018 I was able to pop it out without removing the kick panel. Although new it was a bad switch. Replaced it and now working fine. Didnt chew up the paint which was fortunate. The park brake would need to go along with the kick panel. They basically go together. But thank you for the help. JayEstes 172 Report post Posted May 8, 2018 I'd recommend getting a set of these plastic door panel removal tools: https://www.amazon.com/Tresalto-Auto-Trim-Removal-Tool/dp/B01L8GHB7O/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525780755&sr=8-3&keywords=door+panel+removal+tool&dpID=41SkvZLT3XL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch I got these as a gift and it gives several tools for getting stuff like the subject switch out without worrying about the paint. This whole set is only $10 as opposed to the 1 metal tool you can get at advance auto.
