some more progress today, it should be ready for the rotisserie this week.

yea, ill be pulling it all off tomorrow including the glass.

Wow a lot of work, cuddos. Are you going to be reusing any of the original sheet metal?

sure am, A pillars and window frame.

movin right along. took the car off the lift and back onto the jig. I can not believe the mess that rust dust makes, I dont know where to begin.

Nice work. I remember when I was doing the sheet metal work on my 69 Coupe, every time I did some metal work I was always having to sweep up that rust dust, what a mess it makes. I am so glad that part of my build is over with.

shot today, so not much got done. I did get the seat platform in and the windshield out, it broke.

moving right along. 

So far dynacorn has put me to a slow halt. 

First, they forgot to send me the seat platform, then they sent me two left torque boxes so waiting for a right box and the fender aprons.

once those are in ill get it on the rotisserie

I always like the going back together part ,it is way faster than the coming apart part,and quite a bit cleaner ,untill you have to grind all those damn spot welds!

yea, this one was rough, look at all the crap on the floor, its just from grinding that side down.

Yeah, its certainly coming together fast, starting to look like a car again,  the times i have seen this done on a rotisserie  or jack stands and you just know its not going to turn out good, well done.

So when you did the cowl... what was the body hammer for?  Of all the metal work I have done, I have never used one (I do have one) on my Mustang.

Probably fo flattening out the flange ,i always keep one with me when replacing panels,a dolly too

it was on the floor, had to put it somewhere

Every now and then i stick one in the wall ,just have to hope it doesnt bounce back

Im at a standstill for the moment with this, im doing my actual job building fireplaces for a living. here is a 14 ft fireplace with a 90-degree return for a house.

ill be back on the stang next week.

took a break from real work and installed the crossmember today.

well, I got rid of a 2300 lb 14 ft fireplace and put the vert on the rotisserie.  

now we can get going.
