Padrino 5 Report post Posted March 16, 2018 Hello everyone, New to the forum. A little about me: Recently retired from the USAF. Was a body mechanic but haven’t done that since I became a supervisor/manager. Originally from The Bronx and now live in Aviano, Italy. My dad always had Mustangs and I picked up the passion. We had a 73 convertible 302 which I learned to drive on and spent many o’days cleaning and working on it. That car was supposed to be mine, but he died several years ago and I lost the car to his gold-digging new wife of 1 year. (NY state law is criminal and immoral). Anyway, since my favorite mustang body style has always been the 69 fastback, I got one last year as a retirement present for myself/replacement for my loss. I now own a numbers matching 69 Mach 351W. It was in great shape and I’m currently making some mods/upgrades which should be complete next week. Happy to be here. I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions, but I’ll save those for later. Ciao! Sal
Grenadier116 24 Report post Posted March 16, 2018 Welcome to the Forum, you are in the right place. Sorry to hear about you missing out on the '73, but that '69 mach 1 looks great. I'm sure it will give you many fine times to come. Would love to see more photos of it. 1 Padrino reacted to this
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted March 16, 2018 Welcome to the forum Sal, and thanks for your service. Those 71-73 verts are pretty cool, but me thinks you've chosen the best year Mustang ever. 1 Padrino reacted to this
