69mach1build 24 Report post Posted March 10, 2018 I am looking for 1-7/8in primaries and 3" primaries. AFR recommended these kooks headers for my AFR 220s but I'm concerned about their fitment. I'm running a stock manual steering setup and TKO600. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/kok-10251400
lanky 44 Report post Posted March 10, 2018 Just from looking at the pictures, I can tell you right now those aren't going to fit unless you have eliminated the shock towers. With your needs, FPA is probably the only luck you'll have with 1-7/8" primaries with the AFR bolt spacing.
1969_Mach1 334 Report post Posted March 10, 2018 The application for those headers specify 1979-1993 Mustangs. I doubt they will fit a 1969 Mustang.
69mach1build 24 Report post Posted March 12, 2018 What about 1 3/4" primaries? Any long tube that fit 69s?
lanky 44 Report post Posted March 12, 2018 With the AFR bolt spacing your options are pretty limited. Even 1-3/4" primaries might bottleneck the heads if the headers have standard spacing. Do post up any information you come across for future reference though.

I called and talked to FPA, sounds like that is currently my best option. They quoted around $700 for 1 3/4" primaries.
Alan_Mac 48 Report post Posted March 15, 2018 FPA = Great 1 3/4 Headers with wide bolt pattern.
