RIP Bob Glidden

Recommended Posts

I just found out Bob Glidden passed away 3 days ago. Watching those 351C Pro Stocks in the early 70's are a big reason I'm a Ford guy today. RIP Mr. Glidden.

The Pinto was killer...

The Mustang was classy...

...and I actually drove an EXP back in 1982, the first new car I ever bought (flame away!)

Growing up a Ford guy was a LOT easier with Mr. Glidden around.

Back in late 60's early 70's I spent many Sundays at New England  speedway in

Epping NH - -it was a great thrill to see Mr. Glidden race. Gave hope to us that loved Fords

Rest in Peace - -Mr. Glidden and condolences to your family

Sam
