mark69sportsroof 31 Report post Posted October 11, 2017 On my 69 Sportsroof I noticed the passenger side low beam headlight was out when I turn on the high beams. It works fine on low beam. The lights are Scott Drake's halogen lights. They are 2 years old but only 1 hour of usage since I rarely drive it at night. The other 3 headlights seem to work as they should. I have the Painless wiring kit and a relay. Any ideas? Thanks Mark
Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted October 11, 2017 Does it have voltage (probably not)? Show us a diagram for the Painless wiring kit/relay and we can help you diagnose the problem. Painless has lots of kits but there isn't anything specific to a 69 Mustang headlight relay kit that I can find. Its probably a bad relay or a loose connection somewhere. 69 Cruzin 4 Report post Posted October 11, 2017 Bad headlight... I have had the same problems with Scott Drake Halogens from CJ Pony. They just blow filaments for some reason. They replaced with two new ones and one of them was bad in the box. Remove and check continuity on the prongs.

mark69sportsroof 31 Report post Posted October 18, 2017 Everything checked out good. Put in new headlight and all is good. The old headlight had one hour of usage. Thanks Mark
