Mike65 512 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 I have to wire the car, build the engine, & have the car painted. Since I have only a 1 car garage to work in or out in my driveway I want to leave the paint until the last step. Should I wire it next, or build the engine & install the engine & the trans?. Suggestions?
Chelby-Ann 47 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 Build and install engine/tranny. This was my approach. I don't think there is a right/wrong to this. Good luck, your getting closer.
Caseyrhe 650 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 I would paint the engine compartment, wire the engine compartment, build motor and install. They mask my engine compartment and front on both my 69 and 70 before painting. Once it's painted, it takes twice as long to get anything done, due to being oh so very careful around the paint 1 RPM reacted to this
