Window Bracket Felt

Recommended Posts

yes it is reproduced and provided by one of the major vendors.. Just can't remember which.  Brian          Well I am mistaken about that.  I was thinking the plastic window guides.  Ridge Runner's suggestion is a good idea.

You should be able to get felt in a roll at a glass shop ,i used to buy it here when i re did all the felts in my 35 ford pick up ,Just peel the old felt off and glue a new pice in its place.my 35s use a lot of it

Cheers Ridge. The old piece will come of by drilling the two rivets out.

I just removed the old felt, then bought some really heavy black felt at a fabric shop and then stuck it down over the place of the old with some silicone.. I oversized the piece and let the edges wrap around a little.  Works just fine.  I also replaced the "rubber" covered metal section by tearing the old rubber off and dipping the end to be covered in plasti-dip a couple of times.  I'm really happy with the fix.
