Oil pan too deep?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I found a guy selling me a 9.5 inch (or 9.75) deep milodon pan and pickup for my 351w/408w  but I was going to do the Arning drop and I was thinking about 1" lower 620lbs springs.

Do you guys think the pan depth would be a issue or should I just stick to a T style pan?

I'll have 18" wheels up front with 40 series tires

i fabbed up a crossmember that provides more clearance for my 7 qt pan. didn't think it was that big of a deal. i can post a pic next to the original crossmember if you want to get an idea.

Yeah, that'll be great if you can do that.  Thanks

I'll make you a crossmember to fit any pan you get Ed.

Oh hell Yeah! I completely forgot your THE tig welding man! The best part is your only a few miles away Bob :)

I definitely need your help with this and a few other things we've talked about before. I've just been so caught up with the details on my engine I keep forgetting to order the suspension reinforcement mods.

Send me a text whenever you have time please
