mustangmike6996 34 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Is it possible that you have a bind in the suspension or steering?
shelbyshelby 52 Report post Posted April 26, 2017 Did the spool valve slide back n forth easily? I use 2000 grit wet / dry sand paper to polish its machined surfaces. There's a screen mesh in the power steering pump that gets clogged. It has to never disassembled to get cleaned. If the problem started with the rebuild I'd stay at the control valve. Also that spool can be installed backwards.

Caseyrhe 650 Report post Posted April 26, 2017 Jack up the front end where both tires are off the ground, start up, how does it turn then? If steering wheel goes back and forth violently by itself, small hoses are hooked up wrong. Warning!!! Don't stink your hand in the wheel trying to stop it, you'll lose your wrist!! 1 Raven R code reacted to this
