Here's the how I made the templates, taking note of where/what I squared it up to. I went and traced the template back onto a

8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper and will scan into a PDF tomorrow am and post. I noted the measurements on the 4 sides to insure its to scale after you print it out.

Cool, thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm going to try get time to modify my dash this weekend. One question though. I noticed on the actual ac lower dash that the edge of the metal around where the vent sits is rolled in a little and is flat. Does the vent actually sit on that bent part and is recessed a little, or does it sit on the outside edge of that on the regular curved part?

Thanks very much Caseyrhe they have just arrived in the post,it is very much appreciated all the trouble you went to do this & post them to me. I am going to buy a lotto ticket here in Australia & hope we can share in a win. It will be a few weeks before I get a chance to cut the holes out in the lower dash,I will let you know how everything went. All the best, Regards Phil

I know this is almost four years old but I want to do the same thing.  Cut my non-AC dash for AC vents.  The pictures and pdf file are no longer linked.  Can someone send them to me or re-post them here?  Also, wondering if v8ford70 or anyone else was able to accomplish this?

Thanks Rod
