RPM 1,190 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Yes, welcome to the forum Mark! Very nice set on Mustangs. I have many fond memories in my old drinking buddy's red 72 vert, until it was stolen and burned. Since you've wisely included pics and your location, I've got nothing else other than thanks for joining us and enjoy!
Thin Lizzy 37 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Thanks for the welcome. I have just bought the 69 and am due to collect it in the next week or so. It's a California car, all original including the paint and no rust. No doubt will have lots of questions about the car when I get it.
Caseyrhe 650 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Welcome to the forum, lots of good folks with a wealth of knowledge. Good looking cars, what color is the 69?

Thin Lizzy 37 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Thanks. The 69 is black jade. I don't mind the colour, though my wife and kids think otherwise. The only mods I understand the car has had are an Edlebrock carb and a Flowmaster exhaust.
Caseyrhe 650 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Love the Black Jade
Grenadier116 24 Report post Posted April 5, 2017 I really like the Black Jade as well. It's a great looking color on a '69. Your wife and kids may come around when they see it in person. That's a nice looking '72 convertible you have. Would love to see more photos of it. 2 herbertgm3 and glennhz4 reacted to this
Thin Lizzy 37 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 Yes, I hope they do. Thanks for your comments about the 72. There are some pics of it on my website: http://www.mustangconvertible.co.uk
Grenadier116 24 Report post Posted April 6, 2017 Thanks for the website link, I enjoyed looking at the photos of the '72. It looks like a very nice convertible and you have a fine history with it. Its not often you see a red convertible changed to another color. Usually, its the other way around. The blue fits it well though, especially with the white interior. The '69 mach 1 will be a great addition to your stable and I'm sure you will really enjoy it as well.
Thin Lizzy 37 Report post Posted April 8, 2017 Thanks for your comments. I've always wanted a 1969 Mustang since I saw this in Street Machine magazine back in 1986. 31 years later and I finally get one! Unfortunately I've had to sell my 72 as I don't have the garage space :(.
