If so I'd like to see some pictures and recommendations on which hand-lever you used and how you ran the brake cable. Mike65 475 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 I am in the process of doing that now. I am using the handle from a 1987 Mustang. I will be using the Ford Racing front cable from a 87-93 Mustang. https://lmr.com/item/M2810A/87-93-Mustang-Front-Parking-Brake-Cable-For-Rear-Disc-Brakes I will be using the Lokar universal rear cables. http://www.cjponyparts.com/rear-parking-brake-cables-black-universal-1964-1993/p/PBCR31/ I have NOT completed the conversion yet. I have the brake handle, I still have to purchase the front cable, & the universal cables & set it up to try it out & make sure it all works. I am also staying with rear drum brakes on my Mustang. After I cut out the opening for the handle I am making a reinforcement plate for the floor to make it stronger.
