bryonbush 85 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 I got the new hoses made so they can run down and back up to the borgeson box. Problem I'm having now is the return barb on their pump sticks straight out. I need to have some type of 90* fitting or way to make the stock barb be bent down to a 90*. I know I can get brass 90* elbows, but want it to have a cleaner look. Any ideas? 5 yapedVem, ncdruroSor, aapedVem and 2 others reacted to this
1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 I ran my hoses up and along side the shock tower. I had to have a pressure hose made 3" longer than what Borgeson sells. In the process of installing mine I noticed Tuff Stuff sells pump covers for this type of pump with return line barbs that point in different directions and I believe some pointed down. You might want to look at those and see if one will work. I initially thought of running my hoses like you are doing but couldn't find an easy simple route with the clutch linkage. machm1970 180 Report post Posted January 29, 2017 I looked into the Borgeson Saginaw pumps, if I remember right, a 1977 'Vette used the same style pump with a return line that pointed down. $50 from the local parts houses. Matt
1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 The only difference is the Saginaw pump Borgeson sells is new and the $50 parts store pump is rebuilt.
