vanscooter 13 Report post Posted January 28, 2017 I have a real 69 mach 1 hood and scoop and I have to go to the Tapazee bridge soon. It has a small dent in the front, I mean like a pencil eraser size. A real 69 hood is hard to find. Vanscooter 2155180293

Guillaume69 150 Report post Posted February 1, 2017 I thought 69 and 70 hoods were different (round hood pins underhood holes vs oval)? Did I get that wrong? The listing says "69-70 hood". G

vanscooter 13 Report post Posted February 2, 2017 Hood is NOT the same. 1969 is hard too find. They physically fit but Guillaume69 is right. They are different marks, holes for hood pins are different and date codes. The rhode island one is a 69 with the small hood pin holes
Guillaume69 150 Report post Posted February 2, 2017 Yes, that's what I thought, that the hood in the listing is an original 69 hood, which is pretty rare. Thanks, Vanscooter, I was not sure. G
newstang 388 Report post Posted February 2, 2017 this is a restomod, the holes are of no significance to me. the hood itself will fit and have no need for a rarity that im going to cut up anyway. i have access to dynacorn, but dont really want repro, i have enough work as it is.
