~ 1969 Black Mach 1 stripe question

Does the stripe reflect light during the day? With everything going into a black car , many people are saying the black stripe on a black car looks great.....with the possibility of light reflection during the day. Otherwise red stripe it is.

My black stripes are reflective.  I haven't noticed them reflect during the day.  If your black car came with red stripes, I would reinstall red stripes.  I wouldn't use black stripes on a black car.  You'll rarely see them.

Black with red ? It looks great ! During the day you can see like a metallic sparkle up close but thats about it

A few guys like the idea of "ghost stripes" . Me, personally, would rather go with red.

I would go with red as well. Matches the red strip on the seats.

 

I saw someone once put the red stripes in a silver jade Mach 1 and I thought it looked really good, better than the black stripes.

Yep.....going with red stripe. It will make the car 100% original again.

I'll go against the grain here- I don't like reflective stripes. I will either have a custom set of non-reflective stripes made, or paint them on; but it definitely needs stripes.
