Turn signal wire cover on steering column.

Is there any trick to getting the narrow metal cover for the turn signal wires on the underside of the steering column to clip in to place & stay there?.

Mine worked fine.  I had to remove it when i clamped a tach to the steering column.  Otherwise, no issues.  Not only do they snap in, but the lower dash cover holds the bottom in place and the top is held in place by the stering column.  Is your lower dash cover fitting correctly?

I have not installed the lower dash cover yet, I just installed the column yesterday.

I was able to slide it in from the bottom I just can not get one of the clips to stay clipped in to the column.

I have the exact same problem, upper side clips dont want to stay and I an afraid if I bend them they'll break
