Brian Conway 264 Report post Posted June 12, 2016 Well can't find either of the most recent wheel fitment topic's that raised some question as whether a 235/60/15 wheel-tire will fit. Saw a car today with the tire and wheels and took a few pictures. The car is a 70 and I don't know any of the suspension particulars mods or Arning/Shelby drop ? The owner was not around so I couldn't ask the back space on the wheel. Just sharing what I could see. Brian 1 annta60 reacted to this

Kevin427 18 Report post Posted June 13, 2016 I have a 215-70-15 on 7" Weld wheels on mine and they are taller than the 235-60's with no issues at all. I also had a 70 Boss 302 with 275-50-15 on Magnum 500's with no issues. sounds like your alignment is off or something is bent/twisted?
Brian Conway 264 Report post Posted August 21, 2020 Well to answer my own question. Yes. In my case a 235/60/15 tire on a 15x7 wheel w/3.75" back spacing. Stock suspension w/KYB shocks. Add the Shelby-Arning drop and to my surprise no fitment problem at all. Brian 3 fvike, JET 445 and stangs-R-me reacted to this
