henkster 19 Report post Posted May 3, 2016 Thats a bummer , i guess the sentimental value is higher than the money. I had the same problem with the mustang I bought the lady wouldnt sell it at first. After a little talk she was willing to part from the car. I told her that I would keep her in the loop and if she wanted to see the car she could any day. danno 128 Report post Posted May 3, 2016 You might provide her with incentive to sell. I know in Minneapolis any car on the property that is not in a garage must have valid license plate tags. I am not sure what the laws are in your area, but the city or county could also have laws about "abandoned" cars, or parking cars indefinitely. Check with the city or county, and if there is such a law or regulation, have the city send a letter that the situation needs to be resolved. So she gets a letter in the mail from the city telling her to clean up her property, and a week later you show up with a cash in your hand. You never know... ray1970 88 Report post Posted May 3, 2016 The town I live in is a bit small but growing.. No one lives forever.. I will get a pic of it in a month or so when you cant see it from the weeds that grow up around it. Thinking there is really nothing to save at this point..It was toast when I looked at it 15 years ago...
