Suspension assembly?

What's the best order to assemble the control arms, sway bar, spring and so on? Seems fairly straight forward, but time is a high commodity and I don't want to redo anything.

Control arms first and this would be a good time to do the Arning/Shelby drop.  Coil springs next and this would be a good time for some new spring seats and upper bushings.  Sway bar last with new end links and a new set of bushings,  I have found I usually do everything at least twice,  So good luck with that.  Brian

Yeah got template to do the drop and all new control arms, springs, spring seat, new sway bar end links and all. Well I guess twice is better than 3 times.

 

Spindle last?

I've always put the control arms then spindle. After that Spring seat, springs, shocks then sway bar

Assemble the upper arm with the spring seat and install

 

 

Assemble the lower arm with the strut and install

 

Attach the spindle and then move it through its travel motion.

 

Install the spring and shock

 

Install new steering linkage if you are going to

 

Install the sway bar

I did it this way with the exception of the strut rod on the LCA.  I did that last.
