Primer/sealer

After search/reading to post here and on the internet, my head is spinning.......

 

I'm having the car blasted but need to seal it within 72 hours.  Won't be getting to a top coat till later.  Whats the best way to do this without creating undo work for me later. 

 

Is there a simple answer to this?

Still a little confused.  Is it a sealer or primer and do I care.

The DPLF-series of PPG epoxy primers are a "primer" when catalyzed straight out of the can and a "sealer" when catalyzed and mixed at a specified ratio with reducer.  Always get the info sheets for any PPG product you use and follow it to the letter.  Very well developed systems .

Go with the PPG Epoxy, their sealer is used right before your ready to lay down your base coat.
