RobotMan 264 Report post Posted January 22, 2019 Been a while since I posted an update. Mike and I have got the entire back of the car welded together, the floor pan fitted, and subframe connectors installed. Also, moved the seatbelt connection points back 3” to allow the seats to move back for big guys like us! 3 RPM, mach1cj and Grabber70Mach reacted to this

RobotMan 264 Report post Posted March 23, 2019 We finished removing and welding a new roof skin to replace the one with 50 drilled holes and bondo stalagtites hanging from the ceiling. Mike was excited initially as he had a temporary sunroof! 2 Grabber70Mach and mikee reacted to this

RobotMan 264 Report post Posted May 15, 2019 Mike and I had a big day this past weekend. We finally got the car off the rotisserie and all painted with rust inhibitor. Just have a little lower quarter work to finish that could not be done on rotisserie. 2 Grabber70Mach and Ridge Runner reacted to this

Mike65 470 Report post Posted May 15, 2019 RobotMan, The rust inhibitor you used is the the Master Series Silver?. I used that on my 69 Coupe to coat the interior side of the floor pans & the firewall, & the whole engine bay inside & out like you did. Then I covered silver inside & out of the engine bay with chassis black from Master Series.
