7TCatvert 24 Report post Posted February 1, 2016 Bought a couple of Led headlights off eBay and installed today. Took a drive tonight and after 30 minutes of aiming, could not have asked for better results....Brighter than stock by a lot. I did just 2 since I very seldom ever need brights. They look almost like the originals. Install took about 40 minutes, true plug and play. I did trim off the tabs on the back of the lights to fit in the bucket deeper. The trim rings fit just like stock. http://www.ebay.com/itm/361282298232?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT 3 StephenGah, sixt9stang and ncdruroSor reacted to this

Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 the sites selection process says that part is not compatible with 69 Ford Mustang. What part number did you use?
7TCatvert 24 Report post Posted February 3, 2016 Doesn't matter the size is important 5 3/4 is what fits. They say won't work because of the dual headlight. I figured it out from my other car I converted and looking at this auction.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-Headlight-Kit-LED-5-3-4-1969-/381423516927?hash=item58ce9cfcff:g:xVYAAOSwoydWmF2g&vxp=mtr
stangman69 17 Report post Posted February 3, 2016 How is the projection of them? I've always been concerned that the LED headlights wouldn't throw very well. Decent beam pattern? Nate
Raven R code 281 Report post Posted February 3, 2016 Holy cow!!.....dem are pricey bulbs! So, standard headlight wiring is sufficient for these? I was looking to upgrade my harness for halogen bulbs but if I go this route....I may not have to.

7TCatvert 24 Report post Posted February 3, 2016 I did this conversion on my 240z also and was amazed at the difference which is why I tried the Mustang....not as good as the z since it uses a 7inch headlight....If I had a 70 this would make it 10x better... Dave R. 85 Report post Posted March 3, 2016 So the amp draw of these lights stays under the breaker that is in the factory headlight switch? No relays needed? Great. What kind of tabs needed to be broken off? +2 on the thanks for sharing. Dave R.
