mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted September 3, 2019 Took a few shots with my phone from the photo shoot for the magazine. They did Craig's car and a 67 fastback we just finished with the 5.8 motor. 2 Skitell and Grabber70Mach reacted to this

RPM 1,190 Report post Posted April 3, 2020 Top shelf level car Rich. How do you get the front outer corners of the hood to match the same curve of the inner edges of the fender extensions? I see so many, including mine, that are off.

DLN351a 1 Report post Posted April 29, 2020 Hi I really like the billet grill it looks so much cleaner than the original plastic egg crate grill. Did you make it yourselves or get it from a supplier?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted April 29, 2020 We bought the grille, have to look it up from who.
gryngear 1 Report post Posted May 6, 2020 That looks absolutely great. I'm not exactly fond of orange but I do admit that it looks perfect especially that shade. It truly is perfect for a magazine. Now I'm having second thoughts on what wheels to get at 4wheelonline. I want something similar to yours that is stylish and can handle pressure and intensity. I have to check more options though. Anyway, I would love to see more of your Mustang.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted May 8, 2020 Getting this car to pass inspection is like nothing we have ever dealt with. They even needed pictures of all the welds.

Welcome to Down Under. If it was in Australia none of the fabricated suspension would even get past the front door. I have a Borgeson steering box that I will probably have to get xrayed before the Engineer(!) will issue a certificate approving it before it even goes to a registration inspection. The stuff we are not allowed to do - the dual driveshaft loop is an example - is a pain. Be glad in the Land of the Free you can bolt in stuff with welds and rose joints and no one cares. mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted May 9, 2020 Uh, I don't think so LOL. They said if they couldn't see the welds, they could go as far as to strip off all the paint:(

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted May 9, 2020 I was shocked when they told us that. It's a good thing we take a lot of pictures to document the build from start to finish. We allowed their inspectors on our forum so they could monitor the build.
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted May 9, 2020 Insane regulations. Do they have a problem with the "wonderful" welds done by Ford? Most on my 69 looked like crap.
