MN69Grande 203 Report post Posted September 2, 2015 Ok looking for a little advice. I'm putting a cheap tac and a digital temp gauge in. I'm going to run power off the feed to the radio, ground is easy to find, and obviously I know where the wire to the sensor goes. My question is where would be a good place to grab the dimmer feed? I was think I could tap into the Blue/Red wire right off the switch that runs via the fuse box to the instrument panel. Any other suggestions? This is a 2-3 fix until I can do a full gauge replacement.
Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted September 2, 2015 Grande, The wire diagram shows wire 19 which is blue- red strip as you said. It comes from a 4A fuse in the block and goes to four plugs: clock, radio, heater and then the big plug for the printed circuit board cluster with 8 lites. Pick your poison. Mach1 Driver 560 Report post Posted September 3, 2015 perhaps I wasn't clear, wire 19 is the lite/dimmer. It comes from the lite switch, goes through the 4A fuse and then to the four plugs
