mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 13, 2017 Headliners are on order with our manufacturer :) pricing should be in the neighborhood of the 69-70 fastback. 1 Johns Summer of 69 reacted to this
Johns Summer of 69 14 Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Will the basic version have the cutout for the overhead light?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 14, 2017 No, we don't cut them out because some customers prefer not to put the light back in, or go with a smaller and flat LED.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 We got our first batch of headliners in yesterday :) For some reason they didn't run the A-pillars, which makes no sense since their on the same box as the sailpanels.
Johns Summer of 69 14 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 2 steps forward, three steps back. About to take my car to the shop and hoping I can get this to him while its there. Fingers crossed...
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 24, 2017 We tried putting them in our 65-68 coupe box and their about 2 inches oversize :( This means they can only be shipped truck freight and not by Fed-X like we do with the rest.
zach69grande 25 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 yikes! Man, my experience with LTL carriers on the receiving end makes this sound terrifying... SO - any estimate on what the new cost is going to be? I assume you'll need to add some handling for crating/protection, shipping dependent on destination zip etc?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 After 4 years and thousands of dollars to get this to the market, it is very disappointing to know that they will have to go truck freight. Cost will be determined by destination. Believe it or not an oversized package is considerable cheaper than FedEx or UPS.
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 If anyone has an original set of 69-70 coupe A-pillar moldings that I can borrow that would be fantastic. I will return them undamaged. I threw all of ours away, and our manufacturer says they need them to setup the routing fixture.
Tony Coupe-r 20 Report post Posted August 25, 2017 I can send you mine, they are not "new" (broken tab on the bottom, etc) however. First rule of restoration, don't throw anything away :).
