mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted June 11, 2016 Looks like my manufacturer is finally going to run a headliner, A and C pillars next week. Then they go back to my pattern maker for a test fit. If everything looks good I have a customer about 45 minutes from my shop to do our test fit.

Ridge Runner 1,113 Report post Posted June 22, 2016 Any mold takes time to make, something of this size and shape will really be hard to do and take a lot of time .I cant wait to see the finished product .Are the sail panels made in or separate pieces ?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted June 23, 2016 We still need a car to test fit this part before we can make the mold.
MustangRanch 14 Report post Posted June 23, 2016 do you have to have the car onsite? I'm in UT, and would be glad to have the part shipped out and test fit here. I'm guessing that would be a last resort but the offer is on the table.

mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 8, 2016 We did a really quick install at the end of the day. I couldn't believe how nice it fit I'll post pictures tomorrow. We need to test fit the sail panels and the A-pillars. One thing I noticed about the C-pillar was a large bulge, I took a pair of tin snips and made some relief cuts and beat it in flat. I'm sure it would keep the sail panel from laying flat.

Tcoco 5 Report post Posted August 9, 2016 Nice does the wind lace and dome light are the only things that hold it in place?
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted August 9, 2016 What holds it in is, the sun visors and the front interior windshield molding the wind lace down the sides, plus the rear backglass weatherstrip. You can still use your dome light if you want. We'll put scribe line on the back if you decided to use the dome light. We will be offering the built in overhead console like all of the others we make. 1 Tcoco reacted to this
