stuart 13 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 I'm installing a factory dual exhaust kit in my Mustang originally equipped with a single exhaust. Does anyone have a picture or template of where to drill the holes beneath the floor pan for the exhaust hangers? thanks, Stu 1 Robertpr reacted to this

Rsanter 152 Report post Posted February 9, 2015 I installed a dual exhaust system in my 69 but did not want to add holes in the floor. I used the hangers like would be used with a boss car and the 351c cars use. They are the ones that go,up and bolt into the rear shock cross member. A single exhaust car will have one of them so that side has the nut plate installed. On the other side I made a square U bolt that slipped in and I used nuts to attach the bracket. Worked slick and no modifications to the car In the back I fabbed brackets that bolted to where the tie downs attach. Bob

mustangmike6996 34 Report post Posted February 27, 2015 I used that Flowmaster kit and it had me drill holes like the red floor pans in the above post. If you do drill, prime and paint the holes.
