'69 Bolt-in Door Glass Question

Recommended Posts

I am restoring my door glass and notice that some of the bracket thru-holes that use bushings have a thin black rubber butyl-type washer about 1" in diameter on the bolt-head side. I haven't found these in aftermarket, are they required or can something else be substituted?

Thanks.

They are available through NPD, Kentucky Mustang. Most vendors will have them.

Would appreciate a part name or link because neither vendor could find them. To be clear, these aren't the plastic bushings, they are round rubber pads that the bolt passes through and sits under the bolt head.
