Ridge Runner 1,112 Report post Posted December 26, 2014 I was going to put mine in the trunk but i decided to put it under the car behind the rear end along with a Holley filter canister .My regulator is on the fuel log at the carb.
LindenBruce 27 Report post Posted December 26, 2014 Somewhere in the rear near the tank where ever you can safely mount it. Electric pumps are much better at "pushing" fuel then "Pulling" fuel. B.
Protowrxs 111 Report post Posted December 27, 2014 Just me but I made a bracket to mount just in front of the tank on drivers side, used a brass nipple to mount the regulator and basic AN fittings to new aluminum fuel line.

maxum96 32 Report post Posted December 29, 2014 Mine is directly behind the rear end center section. As others have mentioned, put it near the tank and level to or below the level of the tank outlet. And sorry, no pictures right now as my car is torn down at the moment.
MikeStang 247 Report post Posted December 29, 2014 I used an exhaust hanger and made a bracket. Bolted hanger to trunk floor and hung the pump down by using an exhaust clamp on the hanger and bolted the pump on. Its Isolated at the tank and at the pump. I'm using an Edelbrock quietflow pump and you never hear it.
