Recommended Posts

Im going to keep all future updates in this posting to make it easier.

Should have done that in the first place, oh well.

Anyways couple more pics of the front end completed.

Did a little filler work on the shock towers, welded a few holes up in the aprons and got a coat of epoxy on her.

Pure sex.

Lol, that's a good thing.

Thought some guys on here might like to see this car that was in my driveway yesterday, shame it had to leave.

I think this car is pure sex.

Chopped 69 fastback, met the guy a few weeks ago and he thought he'd drive her over to show me.

Kinda like missing one of your digits on your hand. Like the deep dish look on the rear and interesting hood/scoop design. Really nice car !

Great color on yours!

Love that chopped '69, but not sure I'm a fan of only doing 2 taillights. That's what makes it a mustang IMHO!

Yea, I have to agree on the tail light thing.

Other than that I thought the car was pretty sick looking.

Interesting for a 69, since there are no quarter panel scoops. So, either those were filled in, was a boss body, which would have been a shame not to restore, or more likely a 70 body with a 69 rear panel and front fenders and grille.

Its a 69, not a boss car, 70 quarters I think he said.

He used a 70 front valance to get rid of the side markers on the 69 valance.

Used a 69 grille, modified it and moved it forward to hide the driving lights.

It is a little different and I like the chop but think both taillights and headlights should have been left as-is. The Torino hood seems to be a pretty good fit, I wonder what all had to be done to pull that off? Any underhood pics? Does thaat car have naarrowed rear end and tubs? The rear wheels look insanely deep.

Also nice to see your body-color engine bay!

Thanks.

Yes the car car has mini tubs, tires are not insanely wide, 315's just the dish that makes them look that way.

Sorry I don't have any underhood pics but its a 351w, sounded pretty quiet when he rolled up in it also.
