Need help with turn signals

Recommended Posts

It's probably the turn signal switch, as they are notoriously known for going bad. But first, I would go around the four corners examining the ground wires to the rear lamps, the bulbs themselves, and fidget with the wires before tearing apart the steering wheel.

Take a look at your tail light bucket connections. The grounds are push ons. Remove the bulb and check the three options; stop, turn and running lights. This is where the circuit tester comes in handy. Same type of tests up front. While your there check for the correct bulb. I agree save the steering column for last. Electrical gremlins are a trying time consuming PITA. Stick with it you'll get it. Brian
