1969 Fastback 302

Recommended Posts

Do to things outside of my control, it might be time to sell my fastback.

Here are the details:

- Med Blue Winter Metallic

- Blue Interior

- 302/C6 AT

- Power Disc brakes

- Rack and pinion steering.

- TCP coil over front shocks

- Jointed strut rods

- Magnum 500's w/235/60r15 all around

- Console

- Originally an A/C car

- LED dash lights

- Sequential hood blinker lights.

- Dual exhaust with GT tips and valence.

Things that still need to be done:

- I have but never put in a new battery side fender apron. If I still have the car, I will plan on replacing this sometime in July.

- I never detailed the engine but it runs great.

- A couple of seams in the headliner have separated.

Other than that it is a pretty clean fun car. It handles awesome. I haven't gotten aggressive in selling it yet. I figured I'd test the water here first.

If interested, let me know and I can send you a bunch of pictures. Looking to get 21k.

I live near Albany, NY

Jim

Sorry for the late replies. I was on vacation and forgot to look back on this thread.

I've put both cars, my 68 Cougar XR7 GT and the Mustang on Craigs list. Whatever one sells first I will keep the other. I'm loosing my barn that I store the Cougar in so one has to go. So RPM, I might not be loosing the Stang if the Cougar sells.

The 302 badge and scoope were put on by previous owner. It is a true 302 car thought.

Happy days are here again!!!! Let me get this straight, your wife didn't know you put the Mustang up for sale, and when she found out she became upset and said you need to keep it. Holy crap, she's a keeper! Does she have a single twin sister???

Seriously, I'm happy for you Ed.

Edit: Ed, Jim, ah they're just names. Oops!

Bob,

You are correct, I didn't tell her that I put an ad out on it and she was not happy with me. Yes also that she is a keeper, I think she knows me better than myself and that I have always had Mustangs and to not have one would make me miserable.

Well, I finally got the Cougar sold so now the Mustang is definitely staying. The good part is I sold it to a friends son and they are local so I will hopefully get to see the restoration. I also now have some cash to spend on either the Mustang or the 69 C-10 Pickup.

SWEET!!!

Glad you get to stay in a mustang. I have thought MANY times about selling mine, especially when it doesnt cooperate, which lately is more times than not....
