RCE1313 23 Report post Posted June 9, 2014 I should be getting my 351w clevor back in 2 weeks from the engine shop and I'm trying to find headers for it. I'm running the Cleveland 2V heads on the block and need to find headers that will fit my 69 fastback. Does anyone have any ideas on where to get headers that will work and not have clearance issues? fordguy69 24 Report post Posted June 10, 2014 I would imagine that you could use headers for a 70 with a 351C-2v?

shaun071 62 Report post Posted June 11, 2014 On a similar question to the OP, I'm looking to build a 302 clever with Aussie 2V heads. Will 70 351C 2V headers work with minimal mods?
MustangBobby 28 Report post Posted June 13, 2014 Check out Ford Powertrain. If you're not sure if there is something that will work, give them a call. http://fordpowertrain.com/FPAindex/Mustang1.htm

Does anyone have any ideas on where to get headers that will work and not have clearance issues? i went with sanderson shorty headers with 3" exhaust on my clevor build.... i tried a set of hooker comps ceramic coated long tube headers for 70 351C ... but, they didn't fit my build with 351w, AFD 2V heads and adjustable motor mounts. the non ceramic set i used to test with hit at the steering box and the shock tower on the driver side. with the money i have in my test headers, ceramic coated, and time, i could have purchased a set of fordpowertrain for the build.... just my2cents
10yearsgone 15 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 original steering or rack? Might need to use the drop bracket for additional clearance on original.
